Well, I talked to Rick last night (aka Ricky) and we're going to go eat dinner together tonight. He mentioned PawPaw Patch, but since neither of us have ever been other than after church on Sundays, we're not sure what to expect but we're going to go check it out.

I sent another email (this time a little more threatening) to the guy I bought my new cell phone from and I was pleasantly surprised when I got a quick response that said there must have been some "glich" in his system and he'll get it out to me today. Sooo, I'm looking forward to finally getting my phone. I'll let yall know when I do get it and if I like it.

So far still no word from Mandy, but I do know that the Pastor said that it's pretty certain that she's going to get the job at the church. I think he said she was going to have an interview with the American church yesterday so I should be hearing from her soon.

I also got my new leasing options and again, I was pleasantly surprised. They only raised my rent about 15 bucks if I sign another year lease and only $25 if I renew for a 6 month. There is a month to month option but it's a difference of $150 a month so that's just not really an option at all. Too bad. That would have been nice. But oh well. As soon as I find out about Mandy I'll decide which option I want to do. I'm kind of leaning toward the 6 month lease just b/c it's only 10 bucks more a month and that would give me the option to move or whatever after 6 months instead of having to be locked in for another year...But I don't know. I have until 8/31 to let them know.

I have a meeting tomorrow night with all of the committee leaders at church just so that we can all get on the same page. That will be a good thing. Hopefully it will be as productive as planned.
The pastor gave me a quick tour of the new chapel building and it's going to be really good. Just 6 more Sundays and then we'll be there!! I also talked to him about having a Saturday rehearsal to go over music for the "Dia de la Hispanidad" in October and also just to give us some time to get some new music under our belts. He seemed to think that would be fine so we'll decide on a date and everything and get that going. I'm thinking sometime in early September we'll do that.

I think I've ALMOST got the second half of the Christmas program planned out. I'm not 100% sure just b/c I have more songs than I can fit so I'm having to eliminate some that I really wanted to be able to do. But, there's always next year!!

It is so dissapointing to know that Little Debbie Fudge Rounds have 310 calories and 12 grams of fat, in just one thing! I know that int he music building at Samford they have the mega ones, the double-stack or something like that. I LOVE those things!! Maybe that's why I can't seem to get skinny!! Oh well, at least I'll be happy (even if I am fat!!).
