Sorry I know it's been a while. I've been a little busy. Which I guess means that I should have a good bit to say. I actually have some pics that I'll have to put up soon.

So, school is out next Friday!! Yeah!! We're trying to finish up the projects with the 4-7th grades. Some are much better independent/project workers than others. One pair (2 girls, 4th grade) are always fighting (before class starts) so they spend the whole class time tattleing to me saying that the other won't work and she said my ideas are all dumb and she said she won't do it unless we do it her way, blah blah blah. So that's fun. I'll be glad when it's over but I think it is a good project for them. Way over their heads content-wise, but a good project nonetheless.

Last weekend was Mother's Day as you all know. I heard about this symphony concert and fireworks show at the Summit on Saturday so Oscar and I went to that. We got there early, went to P F Chang's and got our order to go so we could do a little picnic. Then, we stopped by the Joe Mugg's to get cokes and so I asked the guy working where the concert was going to be b/c we had only seen a few people walking to one place but we didn't see anything roped off or anything. The guy said, It's been postponed until May 22. Why on earth until May 22??? Whatever, the weather wasn't looking to agreeable but it wasn't supposed to rain until like 10 or 11 that night. But, we had already put in the order at the restaurant so we went and picked that up and took it to this park/lake place. It's really just a lake with a sidewalk around it. It's at some business's building. It was really nice. We had our own little private picnic and it was great. But, when we were leaving, I got a little out of control while we were leaving the place and I completely wiped out. There was this little patch of mud and I slipped in it. I bruised my knee and got my pants and shoes all muddy. My shoes actually had mud inside them which felt really disgusting. After that we had to go to this guy's house (Mario, the old drummer) because he quit Samford so that was his last night in Bham before he went back to Baton Rouge. So, I had my pants and shoes all muddy but we went anyways. What a trooper!

I've got some more I could talk about, but I need to get going. I have a few classes shortly at the church. I'll put up some pics soon, hopefully!
