Sorry it's been so long since I last updated my blog...I've been a little bit busy. Wedding plans are coming along well. I actually bought my dress this past weekend. Jill came in from Atlanta and we went back to David's Bridal. I had gone a few weekends before and registered a few dresses at the store in Atlanta. Well, supposedly you just have to go and tell them your name and they can pull up the dresses you liked last time. BUT, that was not the case. The only thing they had registered under my name was the name of my consultant. No dresses. But, it turned out being okay b/c the dress that I ended up buying is one that I nevered tried on before. I guess that worked out for the best! ;)
We're in the process of finding videographer, photographer and florist. I finally talked to Pam Walker who is going to be our Dawson Wedding Consultant (required for all weddings held at Dawson). She gave me some names of people to look into for pics/video/flowers. I'll have to check them out. I also have another book to look through that has other names and numbers. We'll see how that goes. I'm thinking that I want to use calla lillies for my wedding party's flowers (and some decorative arrangements). They're simple but elegant. I tried to find some good pics but I can't find any that look like what I am thinking. I might add some roses to my bouquet but I'm not sure yet.
I also got my veil in the mail today. It got here REALLY fast. I need to leave SUPER-good feedback for the seller.
So, like I said, plans for the wedding are coming along.
Christmas is REALLY close. We started a little bit last week, but we won't be able to really get under way until after Thanksgiving!!! I had this all planned out TOTALLY different. But, I'm sure we can pull it off. The people seem to be willing to work, I feel pretty organized and we'll be rehearsing in the chapel every week so I think those are all improvements from the Easter program! We'll see how it goes...
Anyways, I need to get going. I'll try to do better at updating this!!
