Anyways, as I write, I'm at home in Atlanta. It's been a good break so far. It's always good to be home for the holidays. It's kind of weird though, b/c this time next year, I will have been married for 8 months!! Hard to beleive huh! It's so strange to try and think about how much life in general is going to change. I'm super excited about it, but it's just strange.

The lady from the school where I've been interviewing is supposed to call me on Monday to set up a trial class time/day. I'll get paid for that day but I have to come up with some way to get out of work that day. I'm not sure if I should go with "I have an appt...all day..." or just do the classic "call in sick"...I haven't decided yet.

Tonight Jill and I went and saw Rent. It was alright. The music was good. The characters voices impressed me but that was about it. Unfortunately we missed a night at the outlet malls so that we could go see the movie. But, I guess it's okay. We're going tomorrow to do some shopping. I have no idea what to get anybody. I'm really hoping for some divine inspiration!

I tried my hand at making four-milk flan. It was pretty much a complete disaster. It didn't turn out all that well and in the process, I cracked one of my mom's dishes...Oops. But, I did learn a lot! I learned NOT to use that particular recipe. I learned that caramelized sugar CAN crack a glass dish...But oh well...Maybe next time will be better!

But, I better get going...It's getting late and I've got an early morning (Jill and I are leaving at 9am...).
