Hello!!! It's been quite some time since my last post, and of course quite a bit has happened. First and foremost....I'M MARRIED. I am now Mrs. Christy Silvestre. I haven't actually changed my name yet, but that's me! So, naturally there has been a lot of action that has come along due to the wedding. We've got things pretty under control here at the apartment. Got the furniture here from Oscar's old room at his sister's house, got the living room rearranged, etc etc etc. It's starting to feel a little more like OUR home instead of MY house. That's a good thing. It's hard to go from living here by myself and then BOOM, I'm never alone! It's a good thing, but it's hard to get used to. :)
Well, right now, the big thing here in the 'Ham is the weather. Schools all over Alabama dismissed early (at 1) and all that. We just officially cancelled our rehearsal for tonight for choir which I REALLY REALLY didn't want to do, but...the pastor had been asking me what we were goign to do since 10:00 this morning and when he wants to cancel something, it's IMPOSSIBLE to convince him otherwise. So, we'll just have a rehearsal on Sunday morning at 10. I'm nervous about that, but I guess it's better safe than sorry. It's just hard for me to cancel something due to weather when it's BEAUTIFUL outside. I was at least wanting to wait until it got cloudy, or rainy, or even windy...but, we had to go on and cancel.
I'm trying to decide how I want to get my hair cut. I need to do it. I get split-ends really really bad so I need to go get a good few inches cut off. But, I guess I do have a few inches to spare. It has gotten really long. I was looking at some old pictures and I think my hair is almost as long as it was when I was a senior in high school. Not quite, but close. Anyways, I think it's time to get at least a trim.
I'm sure there's about a billion things I could be commenting on here but I just can't get my brain to think right now. I'll post again soon with more interesting stuff.
