Today is Thursday and I have learned a lot here at the dentist's office. I'm learning how to read charts, the basics about different procedures so that I can schedule them, etc. It's going well. Once I get to wear scrubs I'll be even better!! I'm just sick of heels and dress clothes! Scrubs and tennis shoes will be a nice change. I woke up really late today. I don't know if my alarm clock didn't go off or if I turned it off and then fell right back asleep. But, I didn't take a shower this morning (but I did late last night so it's okay). I woke up at 7 and made it here by 7:25. It's really not that far away. And, supposedly I'm going "the long way" so I need to find out what "the short way" is!

Mandy and I actually talked some last night. It was the first time since she moved in on Saturday that we've really talked (for more than 5 minutes in the morning)! It sounds like she might be paying her whole part of the rent. I'm not 100% sure though, but that's what it sounded like...If she is, I might need to give her a little more cabinet space in the kitchen! ;)

I went on and signed another year lease. I figured I'll be living in an apartment that much longer (at LEAST), so I might as well be living there (for less that $600/month, which is really good comparatively).

Rick said something about needing a haircut so I might be playing chaufeur tomorrow afternoon. But I can because I get off at 1!! Well, actually tomorrow, we're going to this uniform store to try on scrubs. They're ordering from a new brand so nobody knows what size they need. So I guess I'll get done a little later tomorrow. That's one thing I need to get used to: At the bank, when it was 4 or 6, it was over. We closed the doors and left. Here of course, we have to stay until the last patient is ready to go, then do the end of day reports and THEN we can leave. So I have to remember that when I'm scheduling things.

Rick has his first game tonight so I'm going to be heading over to good ole Samford. It's funny b/c I'll probably be going to more games now than I ever went to when I was in school! But I'm looking forward to it. And don't worry, I have my camera!!

I signed up to take the GRE in October so that I can have my score and all my other stuff in to UAB by 11/1. I'm nervous about the exam but I'm excited about going back to school. Not that I really need anything to fill up my time, but you know!
