Ok, so first blog ever and I'm having a kind of difficult time getting it to work...but I think I may have it. So, what to say in my first blog... Nothing really exciting is going on right now but there's some plans for this weekend. Robbie is going to be coming to visit Friday thru Sunday so that will be exciting. He'll get to see a little of what goes on here and then he'll go to church with me on Sunday so that will be interesting if nothing else. It'll also be good to see him since it's been a while. Just a few more weeks until Ridgecrest vacation so that's definitely something to look forward to. It's been hard not having any vacation time yet this year but that will make the end of the year easier to deal with since I'll have that week in August and then the week of Thanksgiving (plus one "floating holiday" that I can use anytime). Other than Robbie coming this weekend I'm just trying to get geared up to take the GRE so that I can start the 5th year teaching program at UAB. I'll be going to talk to the guy about it at the beginning of August (just before VACATION) so that should be informative. I'm really exciting about having a plan to get me back on track for the teaching thing. It feels good. Well, I need to get going...after all, I am at work, so I should probably do some of that...
